Happy Medication Safety Week
This week is Medication Safety Week. Part of medication safety is properly disposing of it when it expires or is unused. Did you know that in some areas male fish are developing ovaries because of the excess estrogen and birth control pills dissolved in the ground water? If it will do that to a fish, do you want to take a chance with your family? A home water filter such as an RO System or a LINX Drinking Water System can ensure that the water you drink is healthy water.
What Are You Dumping In My Drink?
Yes, even if you think you are a good, law-abiding citizen, you are probably dumping contaminants into my morning cup of coffee. And, likewise, you are getting a bit of the Advil I took to shake off my Monday-morning headache. Our bodies simply don’t use every little bit of the pharmaceuticals we consume, so the residual ends up in the groundwater, and eventually our drinking water. Here’s an interesting article about this situation and the Great Lakes: http://greatlakesecho.org/2012/11/29/pharmaceuticals-difficult-to-treat-in-drinking-water/
We recommend adding a last line of defense before you take another drink. Our recommendation is a reverse osmosis water filter (RO system), a Boncor LINX Drinking Water System, or a bottleless water cooler.
What’s Your 2013 Resolution?
This year Boncor Water Systems challenges you to make a difference to our Southern California water supply. Did you know that the water filter under your kitchen sink could be flushing thousands of gallons of water down the drain every year? That’s water that your tax dollars have paid to treat, you’ve purchased from your city, and then never even used. Watch our video about the insane amount of water reverse osmosis systems waste and how you can have great-tasting healthy water from a LINX Drinking Water System.
What is your drink of choice?
Alarmingly, about 33% of all bottled water actually contains more contaminants than tap water! That’s why we think it’s time to change to a source you can trust - and save a ton of money too. Did you know that bottled water costs roughly 1,900 times more than tap water? Try a drinking water system or a water cooler for a safe and affordable alternative.

High Demand for Meat Could Affect Drinking Water
Are you a meat-eater? How much meat does your family consume each week? As Americans, we tend to eat quite a bit of meat. But with this demand comes a major concern for drinking water safety.
